Update 31.05.07

Well we seem to have a bit of a break at the moment. Snetterton was pretty interesting. Leon (Camier) had a problem with his bike in the Qualifying session and had to start from 29th position on the grid in both races. He managed to work his way through the field to 5th and 6th in the two races and really did himself credit, two great rides well done Shafter.

It was a good weekend for me all round really, all my riders got very good results and Scott Smart finally broke into the top ten, hopefully things will continue to improve for Hawk for when we get to Mondello in a couple of weeks time. I know the team are working flat out to make sure everything is moving forward. Scott won his first BSB race at Mondello with Hawk in 2004 so hopefully he’ll get a couple of good results there too.

Westy and Dan from Centurion once again scored two positive results and considering it’s their first year in the Supersport class both are doing a great job.

We had a weekend off from BSB last weekend and I got a pass for the World Superbikes at Silverstone, I was in two minds whether to go or not but Brendan (Roberts) who I write for won his first race for the Xerox Ducati Junior Team in the European Superstocks, great result considering how bad his wrist still is. The second World Superbike race was cancelled due to the rain, similar to that of Mondello last year, Stuart Higgs and his troops did a great job once again!

I’m hoping to jet off somewhere hot next week before Mondello but getting round to actually booking somewhere is proving a problem!

Leon site is now live - www.leoncamier.com

as is Brendan’s new site www.brendan-roberts.co.uk

Cheers

Carly
