Fundraising Night for Nick Crowe and Mark Cox

21^st August, The Yorkshire Suite, Northallerton, DL7 8PP

 

 

The Auction night on the 21^st August at Northallerton is all set to become fantastic evening with some very special auction items, including items signed by the great Agostini and Rossi! The night which has been planned is to raise money for Nick Crowe and Mark Cox who were injured in this years second TT Sidecar race will take place at The Yorkshire Suite, behind the Golden Lion Hotel in Northallerton, DL7 8PP.

 

Confirmed riders attending on the night include TT legend John McGuinness who is also expected to bring some goodies for the auction. He will be joined by TT star Ian Hutchinson, 2008 British Superstock Champion Steve Brogan and Brands British Supersport winner, James Westmoreland. Also hoping to attend are 2009 Senior TT winner Steve Plater and funny man Guy Martin. The hosts on the night will be Eurosport commentator Jack Burnicle and pit lane reporter Larry ‘Scoop’ Carter. 

 

All being well and injuries permitting Nick Crowe and his wife Danny are hoping to attend as is the fiancée of Mark Cox, Amanda. An auction, raffle and disco will enable those attending to win some great TT and racing memorabilia, as well as non-motorcycling, but exciting, goodies!

 

The evening will kick off at 8pm and will run until late, with entertainment throughout the evening. Tickets are £10 each and entry will be by ticket only, which can be booked by calling Emma Hudspeth on 01969 625111 or Eve Vanner on 07518 021137. There are only 50 tickets left and entry is strictly by ticket only!

 

Commenting on the fundraising, the Nick and Mark’s families said, “We are overwhelmed at how generous people have been and we can assure everyone that the money raised so far, or the proceeds from fundraisers still in the planning, will not be used for our daily living. It will be used to buy the equipment that Nick and Mark are going to need to help them re-establish as much as a normal life as possible, as well as fund any costs incurred while the boys are injured. Thank you so much to everyone who has both organised fundraising activities, such as the sidecar pull around the Isle of Man and the evening event at Northallerton later this month, and also got involved and been so generous with their giving. We are truly amazed and humbled. Thank you.”
